About

Welcome to my blog!

It has been proven that people are more likely to stay loyal to their hairdresser than to their lover.

…and I understand exactly why.  I’m not just a hairdresser, I’m a therapist, friend, counselor, and an open ear. When people come to get their hair done, they are always happy to have an excuse to get away, even if just for an hour or two.

I have been in love with hairstyling, clothing, and fashion since I can remember.  (That photo is me styling my cousin’s hair when I was only three years old!)  After graduating college with a business degree and working in the corporate world,  I decided to pursue my true passion and enroll in beauty school.  It was the best decision of my life.  In 2016, I began the process of opening my own salon.  There is nothing more rewarding than knowing you helped to make someone feel beautiful.

When you look great, you feel great.  Whether it’s a timeless pearl necklace, a trendy new hair color, or a shiny pair of heels, I love to incorporate my love of fashion into my own every day style.  I’m surrounded by beauty, trends, and individuality every single day, it is my pleasure to share my passion with you! That’s where my inspiration comes from to write this blog.  I learn something new every single day.  And I love every second of it.  I want to share stories, events, and photos of hair happenings; what goes on behind the chair.  It’s crazy and eventful, there is never a dull moment.  Care to join me?
